Canadian Fieldwork Specialist Acquired
Integrated research firm Advanis has acquired the operations of field specialist Gravitywave Research - both firms have offices in Alberta, Canada.
Advanis is a full-service research consultancy advising on sales & marketing, customer care, and product development. Gravitywave was launched in 2006 by former Environics executive Stasi Manser, who now joins Advanis as VP, Business Development with more than twenty years of experience in quantitative research and field management.
Manser, who will focus on expanding Advanis' data collection platform into western Canada and the northwestern USA, describes Advanis as 'one of those rare companies in our industry that successfully uses technology to re-invent the way research is conducted'.
Advanis CFO Joe Sauer comments: 'Adding someone with Stasi's background and skills to our team is a significant step forward for Advanis... We've made considerable investments in developing our web, IVR, and remote-interviewer CATI platforms, and we are very pleased to have Stasi on board to support their deployment.'
