Indian Alliance for Agricultural Specialist
Missouri-based agribusiness consultancy AgriThority has announced the extension of its services into India via a strategic alliance with the SCS Group, whose services include agriculture marketing research and test marketing.
Both firms offer a wide range of services beyond marketing consultancy. AgriThority provides field and clinical research, crop and food animal production systems development and information transfer services, while SCS also offer retail support, logistics and representation, with recognised expertise in moving perishable agriculture produce in and around areas with deficient infrastructure.
Jerry Duff, AgriThority LLC managing member, says SCS Group has 'played a pioneering role in the creation of a valuable cold chain infrastructure in South Asia', adding that the group's skills in helping domestic and international clients with strategy are recognised by Indian government organisations.
Keith Sunderlal, MD of SCS Group, says his firm's mission is 'to represent agribusiness companies from all over the world to ensure liaison with key players in government, industry and media fields.'
