Fast Expansion for InSites Consulting
Online research firm InSites Consulting has announced rapid growth and the opening of new offices in the Netherlands, UK and Switzerland. Four senior hires will help to support and consolidate the expansion.
The company offers qual and quant online research using an online panel with more than two million members spread over 25 European countries. It employs 90 people in offices in Ghent, Rotterdam, London and Geneva, and a further office is scheduled for Paris by the end of this year.
Turnover for the first half of 2010 will rise more than 50% versus the same period in 2009.
The new arrivals bring experience from a range of global firms in Europe:- Lisa Ohlin joins as a Research Director in the UK. Speaking six languages, she has spent more than 12 years in the Food & Drink and Home & Personal Care sectors, including eight years in European Marketing and Innovation roles at Unilever, and recently as Global Head of Insight at Cadbury.
- Ashley Smith, who also join as a Research Director, was Director of Consumer & Marketing Intelligence in the electronics and durables sector at Philips, and will now be involved in innovation research.
- Emiel van Wegen joins the Dutch office as Research Director. He brings nine years of research experience from Synovate, where he was involved with managing online panel and online research tools. He also worked at Fortis and GMI, also in online market research and product development roles.
- Isabelle Stevens, who joins as Research Manager, holds a PhD in Communication Sciences. A teacher of applied social statistics and involved involved in marketing communication courses at the University of Ghent, she has also managed research projects for NATO and for brewer Anheuser-Bush InBev.
