Singapore Office and Hire for Social Media Analyst
SaaS social media specialist Attentio SA has named Vincent De Gennaro as Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and has announced the official opening of its new Asian headquarters in Singapore.
The East Coast Singapore office will serve as a sales and support hub and will be staffed with multi-lingual social media analysts supporting global customers.
De Gennaro will report to the company's CEO, former FedEx and Toyota exec Amaia Lasa, and says his mandate is to pursue 'an aggressive go-to-market strategy ... to position the company for significant growth'. He brings over 30 years of international sales and management expertise, most recently from CRM software maker Actuate Inc. where he was Vice President of EMEA, and previously in strategic international positions at Brio, Sagent, Pilot Software, Informix, Sybase and Software AG.
Attentio, whose Brand Dashboard and Brandmaps products help blue chip clients to monitor and analyse brands across all social media including blogs, forums and news articles, raised EUR 525k in funding November last year, from the Brussels Regional Investment Company (SRIB/GIMB), bring its funding total to around EUR 2.9m to date.
