'Point of Practice' Researcher Expands

Horsham, PA-based Verilogue has announced an upbeat start to 2010. The healthcare insights and analysis firm now employs more than 35 specialists.

Verilogue says it has expanded its database to more than 50,000 captured physician-patient conversations; expanded its research capabilities across 75 therapeutic categories and 16 physician specialties; and grown its team of market researchers, sociolinguists and communication specialists.

The company digitally records naturally-occurring real-time conversations between patients and physicians across the US using its patent-pending Point-of-Practice database and technology system: its team of linguists, statisticians and marketers then analyses the anonymised dialogue to deliver insights.

Verilogue won a $4m investment from Edison Venture Fund in December 2007, the investors saying that brand managers had 'raved about Verilogue's unique research techniques and insightful analysis.'

President and CEO Jeff Kozloff comments: '[clients] from large pharmas to mid-market biotechs and health care agencies... continue to benefit from our ability to reveal new ways for health care practitioners to improve the physician-patient dynamic, evolve their sales and marketing communication strategies and ultimately help improve the delivery of patient care.'

Founded in 2006, Verilogue is online at www.verilogue.com .
