OmniPanel Opens Brazilian Office
Online healthcare and pharma market research specialist OmniPanel has expanded its operations in Latin America, with the opening of an office in São Paulo, Brazil.
 OmniPanel, part of San Francisco-based full service MR, business intelligence and consulting firm Facta Research, which was founded in 1979 by Ignacio Krasovitzky, provides a suite of online market research solutions for the healthcare/pharma industry. These range from web-based surveys to focus groups, all of which are supported by the company's proprietary panel of 75,000+ physicians in Latin America.
The new office is part of the firm's plans to expand into major emerging markets, and is aimed at meeting 'increasing industry demands' for online research in the country. The new operation will be supported by a dedicated contact center based in Rio de Janeiro, staffed by a team of 30 experienced healthcare interviewers.
OmniPanel currently has a large call center in Mexico City, and employs more than 150 bilingual interviewers.
