Spredfast Adds New Social Media Features
US firm Social Agency has announced several new features for its Spredfast platform, giving social media marketers the ability to see additional detail about who is engaging with their brand online.
Highlights of the new release include social profiles, which give marketers detailed information about people engaging with the brand, including how often they interact; integration with location-based service Gowalla, to monitor who is checking in at a specific location and how often; and integration with sentiment analysis engine Crimson Hexagon's Buzz Monitor and Opinion Monitor services.
Other features include categorization and sorting of content using Content Labels; simple translation of posts into other languages, and tracking of Facebook page views.
Spredfast launched in January 2010 and has recently secured Series A funding from Austin Ventures.
Ken Cho, co-founder of Austin, Texas-based Social Agency, says the ultimate goal is 'to give our customers everything they could possible need to manage their company's social presence', and believes the new features are 'a big step in that direction.'
