Boom Continues for Vision Critical
Interactive research and technology firm Vision Critical has announced results for the first half of 2010. On a constant currency basis, total revenues rose 43% versus a year earlier and CEO Angus Reid says the company is 'on track to earn approximately $70 million in revenue in 2010'.
The results reflect Vision Critical's aggressive growth strategy and represent 'another major step forward based entirely on organic growth'according to Reid.
Although as a private company the firm does not release details of its profit performance, CFO Gord Baizley said its strong profit growth continues. Five new technology products have either been launched or are scheduled to launch in 2010, supported by a private placement financing earlier this year.
The company now has around 450 employees, including 120 new positions so far in 2010. Sales staff in Europe have tripled and there are five new offices in Toronto, New York, London, Paris and Sydney, with operations in Asia and Latin America next in the pipeline.
The company says it added more than fifty new community clients in the first 6 months of 2010, and now serves more than six hundred.
