Revelry Takes Smallholding in Data Garden
Investment firm Revelry Brands has taken a minority stake in New York-based analytics company Data Garden, which will use the financing to grow sales, expand marketing and increase awareness. Terms were not disclosed.
Data Garden uses a code process that analyzes raw retailer data on behalf of natural foods and consumer products brands. This information is then standardized into a model to provide multiple reports including average price and sales information, and promotion profitability.
Analytics are delivered via cloud computing or a web browser, requiring no installation, IT staff or technology investment according to the firm.
'While Data Garden's founders Jeff Goldberg and Jamie Sidey currently work with a single source of data for natural consumer brands, their platform can be expanded to perform a full integration of a company's data across multiple channels,' stated Brendan Synott, founder of Revelry Brands. 'We are existed to be investing in this company.'
