Horses for Sources Makes Senior Hires
Horses for Sources (HfS) - a social networking community and advisory / analyst firm which focuses on outsourcing - has expanded with the appointment of former Forrester executive Euan Davis and outsourcing specialist Esteban Herrera.
HfS integrates social networks with market research and advisory services. Its team of analysts, led by co-founder and CEO Phil Fersht, provides insight on business process outsourcing, information technology services, and cloud business services.
Davis joins with more than 14 years' industry experience. Most recently, he served as Principal Analyst at Forrester Research, supporting the firm's sourcing and vendor management clients. Before this, he worked for IDC and led Yankee Group's European IT services practice.
In his new role as Research Vice President, IT Services and Sourcing, Davis will be tasked with helping the company develop its European research practice. He will be based in Cambridge, UK.

Herrera joins the HfS executive management team as Research Vice President for the firm's strategic sourcing practice. In his new position, he will drive the company's research agenda which encompasses strategic advice, best practices and governance support across all aspects of IT outsourcing, BPO and shared services.
Most recently, he served as MD at outsourcing consultancy Alsbridge, prior to which he was President of NovaSphere Group, and EVP at The Concours Group, where he led both the Sourcing Advisory Services and Global Shared Services practices. During his career, he has also held executive positions with Infosys and Accenture.
