Senior USAID Post for Former Public Opinion Researcher
Former Greenberg Quinlan Rosner (GQR) pollster Mark Feierstein has been confirmed as Assistant Administrator for Latin America and the Caribbean by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
Created in 1961, USAID is the principal US agency to extend assistance to countries recovering from disaster, trying to escape poverty, and engaging in democratic reforms.
As a Principal and Vice President at GQR, Feierstein oversaw public opinion research in over 30 countries. Prior to working at the agency, he was Director of USAID's global elections office and held roles negotiating with diplomats from the Americas in the State Department and overseeing development programs at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs. He also worked as a journalist in the United States and in Mexico.
