Market Resource Partners Opens in Northern Ireland

US-based technology marketing firm Market Resource Partners (MRP) is planning to hire 106 new staff over the next three years, with the opening of its European call centre in Northern Ireland.

Pennsylvania-headquartered MRP specialises in the design, measurement, and execution of marketing and sales plans for technology companies and their channel partners.

The firm also offers strategic marketing consulting, market analysis and modelling, marketing operations, and relationship database marketing.

Its analysis and predictive analytics services provide clients with actionable market intelligence, while market segmentation and profiling solutions offer information to help them penetrate their target markets.

MRP's new operations in Newry, Co Down, will be based alongside its parent firm; software consulting group First Derivatives at Canal Quay.

'In recent years, we have been seeking to establish a base in Europe, which would facilitate growth in key European, Middle Eastern and African markets,' states Executive Director Kevin Cunningham. 'We chose Newry because of the local talent pool and the opportunities which a competitive location like Northern Ireland offers us.'

MRP has received an £848k grant from Invest NI to support the new venture.
