New Boston HQ for Communispace
In the US, online research community builder Communispace is relocating its headquarters from the current 40,000 square foot location in Watertown, Massachusetts, to an office twice the size, based across two floors of the Atlantic Wharf Building in Boston.
Communispace was founded in 1999 and has created more than 350 customer communities for blue chip clients. In August, it reported a 29% increase in revenue for the first half of 2010 to $22.5m. As well as its HQ, the firm has additional offices in Atlanta, Chicago, London, New York, San Francisco, San Remo (Italy) and Sydney.
The company says the new 82,000 square foot space will capture the elements of its culture with an 'energetic and eclectic feel', consisting of open workstations, conference and training rooms, and its 'Fenway Park West' custom meeting space that emulates the home of the Boston Red Sox.
CFO Gary Arena (pictured) says the firm will move into the new office space next summer.
