Clarity Hires Blaxland for Qual-Quant Role
In Australia, Clarity Strategic Research has appointed qual-quant specialist Sam Blaxland as a Director, focusing on the B2B, telecoms, fmcg, finance and retail sectors.
The agency was launched last year by former TLE (The Leading Edge) researchers Alex Sweeney and Alasdair Johnston.
Blaxland joins from full service agency Arnold & Bolingbroke where he worked as Research Director. Prior to this, he spent three years with construction firm Land Lease Retail as Research Manager, planning and managing consumer and economic research, and identifying demographic, social, consumer and retail trends.
For the five years before this, Blaxland worked at Jigsaw Research - latterly as an Account Director working across a range of qual and quant methodologies including ad and product concept testing, customer satisfaction, segmentation, ethnography and usability studies. He began his career with Minter Research as a Senior Project Manager.
