InSites Hires for New Consultancy Offer
European research agency InSites Consulting has appointed social media and trend specialist Polle de Maagt, to support the addition of marketing consultancy to its portfolio of services.
InSites Consulting offers qual and quant research using an online panel with more than two million members spread over 25 European countries. It employs 90 people in offices in Ghent, Rotterdam, London and Geneva, and a further office is scheduled for Paris by the end of this year.
Managing Partner Joeri Van den Bergh said that the decision to offer marketing consultancy had been driven by clients' requirements beyond 'merely presenting findings in an attractive format'.
'Apart from vivid storytelling, researchers of the next generation need to adapt consultancy methods to ensure full organizational uptake of what our clients have learned from research,' states Van den Bergh. 'By offering consultancy services we re-connect marketers with their audience.'
de Maagt joins from Leuven/Amsterdam-based ad agency Boondoggle, where as Strategist/Creative Technologist, he helped clients build their mobile, online and social media campaigns.
Prior to this, he served as a 'Social Media Expert' for trendwatching agency Trendwolves, where he analyzed European youth trends. He has also worked as a freelance social media consultant.
In his new role as Marketing Consultant, de Maagt will support InSites Consulting's existing Brand & Communication and Youth & Trends teams, and will work alongside Steven Van Belleghem to help clients prepare their social media strategies.
