KN Introduces Smartphone Survey Solution
In the US, consumer specialist Knowledge Networks (KN) has partnered with mobile survey technology provider Techneos to roll out a solution that uses smartphones both for traditional information gathering and for 'on the go' and 'in the moment' research.
The new QuantM system uses smartphone apps to send information requests to survey participants. It can be used for mobile CAPI, to conduct interviews at the point of experience; as well as for mobile panels with individuals self-completing on their own devices.
KN says its new solution is suitable for a range of research, including for understanding shopper experiences and insights, measuring ad/media exposure, testing product experience, and for collecting clinical trial data to provide healthcare insights.
'Mobile technology can help us learn things about society, products and brands that were never before possible,' KN said in a statement. 'We recognize that engaging with people in the way they want to be engaged is a means to getting closer to their behaviors and attitudes - and mobile is the place of choice for many Americans.'
