PluggedIN Reports 43% 2010 Revenue Climb
In the US, PluggedIN, which specializes in building online research communities, has reported 43% revenue growth in 2010, while profitability was 'up substantially' year-on-year.
The company is based in Rochester, NY and was founded in 2006 by Benjamin Werzinger, Matthew Foley and Lail Brown. Much of its 2010 growth came from the sale of market research online communities (MROC), and the firm says it plans to introduce new community-based products and services this year.
'It's exciting for us to see this level of growth in an industry that has remained relatively flat in the last year,' states Werzinger (pictured). 'We think it speaks to the tremendous opportunity available in shifting qualitative research online, and specifically into online communities.'
