NOP To Launch e-Omnibus
NOP World has announced strategic online alliances with Tiscali and iPoints as it launches its new e-Omnibus service in Britain. The largest GB Internet Omnibus, e-Omnibus is representative of the weekly online user population, estimated to be some 15 million adults.Exclusive alliances with Tiscali and iPoints will provide NOP World with access to some 3 million British consumers to conduct a variety of different types of online research. These third parties add to NOP's already substantial in-house online database resource. Tiscali is Europe's largest independent ISP, whilst iPoints runs the UK's largest Internet-based customer loyalty and rewards programme.
Commenting on the launch of NOP World's online alliances, Simon Chadwick, NOP World's CEO, said 'These alliances demonstrate NOP World's commitment to online research. They form part of the continuing global investment in this increasingly important area of our business'.
The first service to be built on the back of the new resource, NOP's e-Omnibus is set to launch on January 1st next year following successful trials in late 2001.
