Lowe Philippines Launches Crowdsourcing Portal
Ad agency subsidiary Lowe Philippines (LP) has launched Crowdder, billed as 'the country's first web-based real-time insight crowd sourcing application'.
Crowdder is the product of cross-disciplinary collaboration among Lowe's Creative, Planning and Digital teams, and links opinion leader feedback with online social gaming. Via a portal at www.crowdder.com , clients can input questions, upload media, select sets of respondents and review previous results. The system is integrated with Google Maps to display regional and local variations.
LP's President and CEO Mariles Gustilo and Executive Creative Director Leigh Reyes both believe that real-time access to insights and response to events are crucial to marketing professionals. 'A marketer who acts on a trending topic as it happens can have an edge over another who acts the following week' says Gustilo. According to Reyes, mobile Internet growth has empowered consumers to find and share information in real time, and marketers must follow to gain the upper hand.
