Synovate Boosts Senior Leadership Team in Greater China

Synovate has made three key appointments in its Greater China unit, which comprises offices in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

In September, the firm restructured its senior leadership team and operations in the region, under the guidance of Eliza Wong who was named CEO for Greater China.

Under this new structure, Jenny Chang, MD of Taiwan, has been promoted to the role of Managing Director of Technology and Telecommunications for Greater China. She has more than 20 years' market research experience, and before joining the firm, she worked for Frank Small & Associates.

With more than 40 years media experience, Steve Garton now takes on the position of Managing Director of Media for Greater China, in addition to his existing role as Global Head of Media. He is based in Hong Kong, from where he specialises in developing new audience research techniques.

Joining Synovate this week is Roland Leung, who takes up the post of Managing Director of Emerging Industries for Greater China, and that of Office Head for Synovate in Hong Kong. Leung has more than 16 years' industry experience, and most recently worked as SVP of Sales & Marketing for Harris Interactive.
