Insight Research Group Adds to Management Team
New York-based Insight Research Group has added two new directors, Steve Becker and James Streit, to its management team, and promoted four current team members: Sarah Chumsky, David Dyte, Sarah McLoughlin and Supriya Sanyal.
The announcement was made today by Co-CEO Stacey Matthias (pictured).
Becker joins from Hall and Partners where he spent more than eight years, most recently serving as a Research Director. Described as an expert in distilling detailed quant findings into an easily digestible qualitative takeaway, his responsibilities at Insight will focus on transforming data into actionable recommendations.
Streit was previously Director of Strategic Planning for ML Rogers, and earlier worked in positions including Brand Planning Director at Avrett Free & Ginsberg. His talent for 'linking emotional truths to economic ROI' will be now be employed to help clients synthesize data to positively impact consumer perception and their overall businesses.
Chumsky, who joined Insight in 2005 as Manager and has since served as Senior Manager and Associate Director, now moves up to Director of the Insight Kids practice. Her responsibilities range from the development of kid-friendly studies to the writing of the Insight Kids blog. Before Insight, she worked as a freelance writer/producer and kids' media consultant; as head writer and technology and education producer at Oxygen and as International Producer at Nickelodeon's 'Blue's Clues'.
Dyte is promoted to Director of Quantitative Analytics, and has sixteen years' experience of applying statistical methods in areas including advertising, sports and media. He joined the firm in 2009 and has since worked as the company's Senior Quantitative Manager. Previously he spent nine years in the Brand Consulting Group at Young and Rubicam, latterly as Director, Global Brand Research.
McLoughlin, who joined Insight in 2004 as a Research Associate, becomes an Associate Director. A qual specialist with a 'passion for psychology' and expertise in group discussions, she has a particular focus on media and fashion.
Sanyal is promoted to Director, She joined Insight in 2000 and is a specialist in quantitative research, focusing on the design and analysis of data-driven surveys with a qual flavour, as well as an expert in international work and the firm's 'pop culture guru'.
Matthias says the firm's success is 'a direct result of its amazing people' and adds: 'This new and already proven leadership team brings intelligence, expertise, creativity and passion to their new roles.'
