GfK Completes Macedonian Buy
GfK has acquired the remaining shares of Macedonian custom research specialist GfK Skopje, of which it already held 51 percent. Terms were not disclosed.
 The company was founded as Stratum Research and majority acquired by GfK back in 2007. It offers market research, information, and analysis of consumer products and services.
The firm employs 14 staff including specialists in psychology, sociology, economics and statistics, and measures competitive marketplace dynamics to understand consumer attitudes and behavior. Specialisms include product and pricing testing, brand management surveys, communication studies, and customer loyalty programmes across a range of sectors. It also provides qualitative surveys including focus groups, in-depth interviews and ethnographic research.
GfK Skopje will continue to be led by Managing Director, Vesna Kuzmanovic (pictured).
