Kline Buys Prochaska for Crop Protection Expertise

In the US, global research and consulting firm Kline Group has acquired Prochaska & Company, a strategic advisor to companies in the agricultural, ag bio-tech and speciality horticultural markets. Terms were not disclosed.

Kline has provided management consulting and market research to the chemicals, materials, energy, life sciences and consumer products industries for more than 50 years. Its latest acquisition Prochaska develops management reports for crop protection companies - these will now be marketed under the Kline/Prochaska brand.

Kline says the acquisition will enhance its Agricultural and Specialty Pesticides Practice with additional resources, and as part of the deal, Joseph Prochaska (pictured) will join the practice as Project Manager.

Kline CEO Joe Tarantola says his firm will bring 'substantial expertise' to the new venture, while Prochaska provides a proven methodology for developing and presenting industry and company crop protection data.

'With our current growing practice in crop protection, we will be able to provide a team approach to the Kline/Prochaska reports that will result in enhanced value to our clients,' states Tarantola. 'We look forward to having Joe as part of our team.'
