Former BT and Dixons MR Head Joins Opinion Leader
CIE - the newly named Research & Engagement Division of UK-based marcoms group Chime has appointed four new team members, including former BT researcher Tricia Whitby, who joins as Research Director at Opinion Leader.
Businesses in the recently re-branded CIE (Chime Insight and Engagement) division include Opinion Leader, Facts International, Naked Eye and Tree.
Whitby, who will specialise in customer satisfaction measurement, joins from telecoms giant BT where she was Head of Continuous Research. Before this, she was Head of Market Research at Dixons Stores Group, also heading up the customer action function. Earlier, she served as CRM Consultant at Young & Rubican-owned Wunderman, and she began her career on the graduate training programme at Unipart.
CEO Crispin Beale comments: 'While the business continues to grow and prosper, we need best-in-class individuals like Tricia to spearhead our expansion. I am extremely confident that she will become a valued member of the Opinion Leader team, as well as the wider division.'
In addition, CIE has appointed Francesca Kemp as a Senior Consultant in its HR team based in Kent, where she will be responsible for recruitment.
She is joined by Research Executives Nicola Blythe and Emily Burn.
