Synovate Hires Martin to Lead Australian Arm
Synovate has hired Nielsen veteran Gary Martin as Managing Director of its Australian operations, based in Sydney.
Prior to joining, Martin ran his own marketing and research consulting business Cognesense. Before this, he worked for partnership fund Southern Pastures, after eleven years at Nielsen in Hong Kong and New Zealand.
Earlier in his career, Martin held director level ad agency roles at HKM (now Clemenger BBDO), Carlton Carruthers du Chateau and Haines Advertising (both now parts of draftFCB).
'Gary has top management and client service skills, and over 25 years of experience in the industry,' states Michael Spedding, Synovate CEO of Geographies.
