ACG Research Buys Networking Industry Specialist NSP

In the US, market research consultancy ACG Research has acquired business modeling firm Network Strategy Partners (NSP). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

NSP provides management consulting to three main client bases in the computer networking industry: enterprise users, service providers and vendors.

ACG says its services will be enhanced by the management consulting, industry and financial analysis, and communications engineering expertise of NSP's consultants.

NSP's co-founder and Managing Partner Michael Kennedy is now responsible for ACG's Business Case Modeling division. Before setting up the firm, Kennedy held leadership posts at consultancy Arthur D. Little and served as an Industry Analyst for Gartner's Strategies and Telecommunications Services division.

'With Michael leading our business case analysis consulting services, ACG will be on the cutting edge in providing the services to vendors and service providers that help them determine their economic value.'
