Forum Launched for Co-Creationists
In New York, a group of executives has formed The Co-Creation Forum, an industry initiative to promote best practice among co-creation practitioners and communities.
Co-creation is a strategy involving customers alongside providers in the process of developing new ideas, differing from the traditional polarized active company/passive consumer market construct of the past. It can be done online via communities or through various off-line approaches.
Members of the new forum include executives from eYeka, Promise Corporation, PRTM, Knowledge Kinetics, Treehouse Logic and Gotham Inc., and the group has already established a program of webinars, online networking events, and an opening night event at the PDMA Conference on Co-Creation.
'In order to further explore how consumer co-creation can be used to deliver genuine innovation in product development, communication, and research, we have called out to co-creation enablers and practitioners alike to form a North American based forum on the subject,' states François Pétavy (pictured), CEO of co-creation agency eYeka.
