Former Nielsen CFO Joins CoreLogic
Business and financial information specialist CoreLogic has appointed former Nielsen high-flyer Frank D. Martell as its new CFO, effective August 29th.
CoreLogic provides consumer, financial and property information, analytics and services to business and government. Its offer includes data to develop predictive decision analytics, and a huge database of financial information whose uses include mortgage and automotive credit reporting, valuation and geospatial analytics and services.
Martell has well over 25 years of experience including COO, CFO and general management positions in the marketing and business information industries. He spent eleven years at ACNielsen, rising to COO, and fifteen years in a variety of financial leadership roles at the General Electric Company. Most recently, he was President and CEO of medical and regulatory assessor the Western Institutional Review Board (WIRB), after spells as CFO of Advantage Sales and Marketing, and EVP and CFO of Information Services Group - the shell company set up by his former Nielsen boss Michael Connors.
In his new role, Martell will oversee global accounting, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, real estate, procurement and administration, and will be based in the firm's HQ in Santa Ana, California. He graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University.
