Gongos Promotes Alioto for Global Methods Role
In the US, qual specialist Gongos Research has promoted Michael Francesco Alioto to the newly created post of Vice President, Global Methodologies, and appointed former Ford Motor researcher Lynn Siluk to replace him as Vice President, Marketing Sciences.
Founded in 1991, Auburn Hills, MI-based Gongos launched an app, i°Communities, last September, to enable users to take part in discussions, 'flashpolls' and mobile-enabled online surveys.
Alioto joined the firm in 2009 from Market Probe. In his new role, he will continue to serve as a senior consultant to Chrysler-Fiat, while also evaluating trends and emerging methods including mobile platforms.
President and CEO John Gongos states: 'The majority of our clients' brands have a global presence, and Michael will lead our efforts to further incorporate consumer knowledge beyond the US and in growing multicultural segments of the population here.'
Siluk will lead the Marketing Sciences team, and focus on advancing the company's quant capabilities, statistical analysis, study design and reporting. She spent 17 years with Ford Motor Company before joining Gongos Research in 2006 as Research Director, Analytics.
