YouGov Shuffles US Senior Team
Online specialist YouGov has moved its US CEO Doug Rivers to the role of Chief Innovations Officer, with a seat on the plc Board. The firm has also promoted Definitive Insights co-founder Doss Struse to the position of President of YouGov America.
 Rivers has led YouGov's American business since 2007, following the firm's acquisition of Polimetrix, which he founded in 2004. Between 1998 and 2002, he was CEO of Knowledge Networks, and he has been Professor of Political Science at Stanford University in California since 1989.
In his new role, Rivers will also serve as Chairman of YouGov America and will lead the development of the company's data products and their use across the group.
Struse, co-founder and Managing Partner of Definitive Insights, which YouGov acquired in April, will now be responsible for the firm's operational management including the continued integration of the business.
Before helping set up Definitive Insights, Struse was CEO of Momentum Market Intelligence and SVP of Marketing at Knowledge Networks. Earlier, he was CEO of Research International USA and Head of Strategy, Marketing, Pricing and Product Development at Nielsen.
