uSamp Hires Eight for New London Team
Online sample provider uSamp has hired eight new members of staff to support the growth of its recently opened London office.
Since launching in 2008, US-headquartered uSamp says it has built a global panel of more than 5.7 million panellists and fulfilled in excess of 10,000 market research projects.
Its new Grays Inn Road office, which opened in June, is led by former Greenfield/Ciao director Gaelle Normand.
New members of her team include former Ugam Solutions Client Development Manager Ben Leet, who joins as Director HRT and Survey Solutions. Earlier in his career, he was an Account Director at Toluna, and held senior roles at Decision Tree Consulting.
Will Boyd and Rahul Krishna become Directors of Survey Solutions. Boyd was previously Business Development Director at Holden Pearmain, and before this a Senior Account Manager at GfK. Krishna joined uSamp in 2008 as Manager of Client Services, after working as Senior Project Manager at Synovate Healthcare, Service Delivery Manager at Research Now, and Senior Project Manager at Greenfield Online.
Saleem Ghumran joins as Senior Project Manager with eleven years' MR industry experience. For the past three years, he has worked as a Project Manager at Lightspeed Research, before which he was Field Controller at Accent and a Project Manager at Fieldwork International.
Julie Do Huu Tin takes on the role of Project Manager, having previously worked as Project Executive at Research Now. Earlier, she spent five years at French agency Mtb Conseil as a Market Research Executive.
Martin Cakebread has joined as Director of Online Marketing and Loyalty, having worked in the digital media / advertising and marketing industry for the past eleven years. Most recently, he served as Online Marketing Manager, Europe for Research Now, prior to which he was a Director at government relations organisation UKNDA and a Digital Account Director at VideoEgg. Earlier in his career, Cakebread held senior roles at Manning Gottlieb OMD, Starcom Media Vest and the Financial Times Group.
Veronique Coulon, who joins as a Customer Executive, is also a former employee of Research Now, in its Panel Operations team.
Finally, Philippa Craig Humphreys will be taking up his post as Traffic Manager from next Monday, after roles as Online Ad Ops Manager at MTV Networks, and Campaign Co-ordinator at Advertising.com.
