Media Researcher Schulman to Leave Turner Broadcasting
In the US, media research veteran Stacey Schulman is leaving her role as SVP, Entertainment, Animation, Sports & Digital Ad Sales Research at Turner Broadcasting, where she has worked for the past four years.
Shulman led a team of 28 sales researchers and helped design the firm's TVinContext research efforts and its B2B digital recommendation engine.
According to her LinkedIn profile, Schulman is now working as CEO, Chief Insight Officer at her own consultancy Hi Intelligence Inc.
Her departure follows a restructure of Turner's sales group, with former ad sales research head Gregg Liebman rising to the position of SVP of Advertising Sales and Sports Research, overseeing research across all content areas for TV and digital.
Before joining Turner, Schulman served as President of Interpublic's Consumer Experience Practice, which conducted proprietary research across a wide range of business sectors. Earlier she was EVP, Global Research at Initiative and held senior research positions at TN Media; Darcy, Masius, Benton & Bowles; CBS; and Katz Television.
Turner's Chief Research Officer Jack Wakshlag said that Schulman had elected to leave the firm, adding: 'I respect and accept Stacey's choice, and thank her for the leadership, drive for excellence and creativity she has shown as part of our team.'
