'Sunrise' Offers Daily Online Measurement
In the US, research and measurement consultancy StrategyOne has partnered with social media monitoring and analysis specialist Crimson Hexagon to launch a daily, multi-language media measurement and analytics tool called 'Sunrise'.
StrategyOne, which is part of the Edelman PR network, offers insights and measurements for PR and public affairs professionals from offices in five US cities plus London, Paris, Brussels and Abu Dhabi. Sunrise offers analytics covering the last 24 hours of digital media activity, and a perspective on conversations and trends that may impact the attitudes of stakeholders on a global and regional scale.
The tool is multi-lingual and can measure volume and sentiment using any specific terms or categories across numerous online sources such as news, blogs, Twitter, Facebook and message boards. It also offers curated online conversations tracking of sentiment and mention volume for competitors.
Steve Lombardo, Global CEO of StrategyOne, explains the name: 'Our clients, marketing and communications leaders are up early in the morning, following the conversation around their company. We've tailored Sunrise to meet their needs: an easily digestible dashboard that allows them to make informed decisions.'
Patricia Gottesman, Crimson Hexagon President and CEO, says Sunrise will introduce clients of both firms to 'a new realm of intelligence gathering and knowledge growth'.
StrategyOne already offers tools such as the Edelman Trust Barometer, the Edelman Health Barometer, and the group's GoodPurpose surveys, along with online community research via the recently acquired PluggedIn.
