New Website for Independent Consultants in the UK
The Independent Consultant's Group (ICG) in the UK has this week launched its website at www.indepconsultants.org
The ICG is an independent non-profit association run by its members and is affiliated to the Market Research Society (MRS). The association represents independent market researchers and small research consultancies. It promotes the value of these to research buyers, encourages networking and the sharing of ideas and experiences, and keeps members abreast of the latest research techniques, issues and legislation affecting the industry. Independent research consultancies and freelancers employing up to three researchers qualify for membership.
The site is linked to other major research organisations: The MRS, BIG, AURA and MrWeb (the designer of the new website).
For clients, the website provides a simple route to finding a consultant, either by searching in the directory, or by posting details of a project to which members can respond.
For members, the site offers a noticeboard facility, directory, discussion group and up-to-date news about ICG activities. Prospective members can access an application form on the site.
This month also sees the launch of the ICG newsletter - The Indie - in electronic format.
