IRN Joint Venture with Key Note

A joint venture in the UK between IRN Services, one of the information industry's foremost suppliers of bespoke research and market statistics, and leading market research publisher, Key Note is to further boost IRN's research capability in the information sector.

Key Note, part of the pan-European Bonnier Business Information group, has taken a 25% stake in IRN Services, which will continue to trade under the IRN name. IRN's three founder-directors, Fred Hitchins, Gary Giddings and David Mort, and research team remain with the company, and are joined by Key Note's own research team and Sandy Livingstone of Key Note Bespoke, who becomes Business Development Director for the joint business.

IRN provides bespoke research and analysis on European and global information markets. One practical result of the partnership with Key Note is that regular briefings and monitoring services will be developed to support IRN's existing ad hoc research services. IRN's bespoke research service will also benefit from the partnership, sharing the vast knowledge base of Bonnier Business Information companies throughout Europe, including British-based ICC Information and The Prospect Shop which will allow IRN ready access to company information and company lists.

According to David Mort, Director of IRN Services, 'Our new partnership with Key Note means we can offer information and publishing companies, large and small, a complete value-added information research service from small information requests to multi-national research projects.'
