Nielsen Wins 'TV Events' Contract in Belgium
CIM, the Belgian Joint Industry Committee responsible for the country's audience measurement, has awarded Nielsen a four-year contract to supply its 'TV Events' measurement system, from 1 January 2013.
TV Events produces programme, break and spots viewing information. The full Television Audience Measurement (TAM) contract was not awarded by CIM this year, as the body decided instead to extend the existing contract by a maximum of two years, to provide time to re-evaluate the market relating to the growth of extended screen measurement.
