Virtual Store Specialist Gets $1.5m in Funding

In Chicago, web based 3-D virtual store research specialist InContext Solutions has received $1.5m in venture capital investment from a consortium co-led by newly launched Hyde Park Venture Partners (HPVP) and Hyde Park Angels, and including graphics and computing company AMD.

InContext Solutions is a full service company which conducts research using online 3-D environment simulations and has developed applications for virtual store research, collaborative store planning and e-commerce. Co-founder and CEO Bob Gillespie comments: 'We are proud to add HPVP to our financial partners and to be recognized among Chicago's technology leaders. We plan to continue to grow our software offering and to lead innovation in virtual store research and in collaborative product and store planning.'
