ISG Merges Companies
Information Services Group (ISG), the acquisition vehicle set up by former VNU boss Michael Connors, has merged its individual corporate brands into one integrated business under the ISG name.
Connors started the group in 2007 with almost $260m in funds. His company's first acquisition was outsourcing advisory firm TPI, and this was followed last year by UK-based benchmarking and analytics firm Compass and public sector advisor STA Consulting. The three companies will now join together under the ISG brand, offering marketing intelligence, insights and advisory services - including research, benchmarking and consulting.
TPI and Compass legacy brands will remain as product and service descriptors, including The TPI Index and Compass Benchmarks.
Chairman and CEO Connors explains: 'Uniting our capabilities under the ISG brand is a natural evolution. We believe this strategy will enable ISG to continue to grow our business, add new talent to our firm and significantly increase shareholder value.'
