Shopper Sciences Co-Founder Joins HookLogic
In the US, e-commerce media solutions firm HookLogic has appointed Jeff Griffin, the co-founder of Interpublic's Shopper Sciences arm, as President of Retail.
Founded in 2004, HookLogic offers a range of digital shopper marketing services, to enable brands and shoppers to connect in and around the e-commerce environment. The firm is headquartered in New York, with additional offices in Ann Arbor, MI and Manchester, UK.
Griffin joins from Interpublic's Shopper Sciences marketing consultancy, where as SVP/General Manager, he helped generate insights supporting Google's Zero Moment of Truth initiative, to enable marketers to better understand shoppers' 'journeys'.
Before this, he spent eleven years at media marketplace Premier Retail Networks, and served in senior roles at Kelloggs, Nabisco, Coca-Cola, Nestle and Procter & Gamble.
In his new position, Griffin is responsible for HookLogic's retail and advertiser clients, while overseeing the retail sales, media sales, client services and partner business development teams.
CEO Jonathan Opdyke comments: 'Jeff Griffin represents a new dynamic for HookLogic as well as the entire shopper marketing industry. He has been a driving force behind the migration of offline brand advertising to digital media, as well as a leading figure in point-of-sale media programs. So, e-commerce media is a natural next step.'
