SurveyGizmo Revenues Up 54% to $5.16m
In the US, online survey and analysis tool provider SurveyGizmo has reported a 54% increase in revenues to $5.2m in 2011.
Founded in 2006 and based in Boulder, Colorado, the firm offers software for the creation and distribution of online customer satisfaction and market research surveys.
During 2011 the company rolled out the SurveyGizmo API, to enable users to pull their survey data into their own databases or CRMs. It also launched a solution called Marketplace, which enables users to create 'more engaging and interactive' customized surveys.
In the last three years, sales have grown 278% from $1.85m, while staff numbers doubled in 2011 to 48. Around 20 to 30 new hires are planned for this year and as a result, the company will be increasing its office space by 100% when it takes a further floor in its building in March.
Says CEO Christian Vanek: 'The insight we get from our customers guides product design. They give us feedback and ideas for new features we had never considered. Our growth proves that being committed to making customers happy is just good business.'
The firm, which has nearly 150,000 users in more than 60 countries, is online at: www.surveygizmo.com .
