Colin Yee Resigns from RI in New Zealand

Colin Yee, Research International's Managing Director in New Zealand, is leaving at the end of January after sixteen years with the firm.

Yee joined RI in 1996, and was appointed MD in 2000. During his tenure, he has led the NZ business, while also maintaining its radio measurement contract for many years. Before joining, he was an Account Director with JWT Advertising, and served as Marketing Manager at Subaru NZ.

Outside work, he served as Deputy Chairman and then Chairman of AMRO (the Association of Market Research Organisations) between 2006 and 2010. Reasons for his departure from RI were not stated.

In a statement, Chris Riquier, CEO Asia Pacific, said he was sad to announce Yee's resignation, adding: 'Colin has always led a strongly client oriented company, leading from the front and being hands on in client development and delivery. We wish him all the best for the future.'
