HR Support as Part of Recruitment Service
UK recruitment consultancy pricejamieson, has introduced a dedicated team to provide HR services for its clients, with Claire Lloyd appointed as Head of HR Services.
With increased pressure on HR departments and greater HR involvement in the recruitment process, pricejamieson believes that having an HR professional on call will be useful for clients.
Lloyd brings a wide range of HR experience to pricejamieson from roles at Experian, Misys, Warner Music, Seagram and Salomon Smith Barney. According to Lloyd, 'We discussed the idea with a cross section of clients before launching, and found there is a definite need for the service. As a result of those conversations we are already planning to offer help with graduate recruitment, management of assessment centres, psychometric testing, competency interviewing, response handling, advice on HR policies and other generalist HR activities. So far it seems that clients with their own HR departments will use us either for specific projects or as an extra pair of hands when the need arises while some of our smaller clients without HR departments will turn to us for general HR support.'
