D.C. Researcher Shugoll Buys Fieldwork Firm Metro
Washington, D.C.-based full-service firm Shugoll Research has announced the acquisition of Virginia-based Metro Research Services, which offers data collection and runs focus group facilities.
Metro's owner, Angela Lorinchak, will now work as Shugoll's Senior Vice President of Virginia Operations. The buy will help will double Shugoll's focus group capacity and allow the firm to service clients' qual research needs in Fairfax and Alexandria, VA and in Bethesda, MD, using what CEO Mark Shugoll calls 'the most technologically advanced facilities anywhere'.
The two firms have worked together for more than forty years, and Lorinchak comments: 'Becoming one company is the perfect way to enhance our collaborations.'
