D3 Buy Boosts African Presence
US research provider D3 Systems has acquired 'a significant share' of Nairobi, Kenya-based Infinite Insight, which operates 'throughout Africa'.
D3, which specialises in research in hard-to-reach people in 'difficult environments such as Afghanistan, the Balkans, Central Asia, Iraq, and throughout the Middle East', says the investment substantially increases its on-the-ground presence in the region, and welcomes Infinite Insight's 'breadth of experience in market, social, and media research across Africa'.
D3's President David Jodice and Vice President Matthew Warshaw joins Margit Cleveland, Jane Delorie and Althea McCourt on the board of the African company, which is online at www.infiniteinsight.net .
The firms are currently collaborating on two surveys in Kenya and newly formed South Sudan, looking at public opinion and media usage topics including economic issues, foreign affairs, domestic politics, general media use, and social challenges. Fieldwork for the surveys was conducted in October and November and results will be released shortly.
D3, which boasts a presence in Sarajevo and Kabul in addition to Dubai, Istanbul and 3 three US offices, is on the web at www.d3systems.com .
