Ipsos Poland Restructures after Merger
Following its acquisition of Synovate, Ipsos has appointed a new management team in Poland, led by Kurt Thompson, Synovate's former CEO for Central/Eastern Europe & the Middle East.
The £528.8m acquisition, in October, formed the third largest market research company in the world.
Thompson (pictured), who worked for Synovate and its predecessor companies for more than fifteen years, was promoted to his most recent role in 2007, after serving as MD for the firm in Korea and MD in the Philippines. He began his research career at TNS in London in 1992, then moved to Asia Market Intelligence (later acquired by Synovate) in 1995.
Ipsos Poland comprises four divisions: Marketing, ASI, Loyalty and Healthcare.
Ipsos Marketing is now managed by three staff: the division's former Quant Research Director Anna Forycka, supported by Qual Directors Kamila Janiszek (who held the post before the merger), and former Synovate Research Director Patrycja Szymanska.
Ad research specialist Ipsos ASI continues to be directed by Mateusz Glowacki and his deputy Patryk Polkowski.
Management of Ipsos Loyalty is now the responsibility of Synovate's former Research Director and Regional Key Client Director Maria Spanou, and her deputy Andrzej Anterszlak, who was previously Quantitative Research Team Manager at Ipsos. Former Ipsos Loyalty Director Steven Vogt is now Vice President.
Finally, Rafal Dobrowolski, who before the merger served as Research Director at Synovate, is now in charge of Ipsos Healthcare in Poland
