Auditor BPA Opens Second China Office
Global media auditor BPA Worldwide has opened an office in the city of Shenzhen, in the Guangdong Province of China, complementing its existing Asian operations in Hong Kong.
Founded in 1931, the US-based not-for-profit organisation offers media audits and verified audience data to consumer and B2B media owners and media buyers in more than 25 countries. This includes web site audits logging traffic, user demographics, and advertising activity; and audits of attendance and demographics for exhibitions and other events.
Last year, BPA struck a deal to offer audited web traffic data and user demographics to digital media platform BBN's publishing partners via the Nielsen-powered BPA Interactive tool.
MD Asia Pacific Doreen Chan says the new office in China has been opened specifically to support clients requiring event and tradeshow audits across the region. She adds: 'BPA's Shenzhen location will support and enhance our relationships with the Chinese event communities, and allow us to provide instant services to our members in Southern China, as well as rest of Southeast Asia'.
