Cross-Tab Hires Former ICM Direct MD Gareth Nicol

In the UK, global research and analytics outsourcing firm Cross-Tab has appointed former ICM Direct MD Gareth Nicol as Associate Vice President, European Client Services, to further expand its presence across the region.

Cross-Tab offers a full range of market research and data analytics including the management of end-to-end research operations, market research process outsourcing, CATI, research analytics and online data collection. In 2009, the firm opened Borderless Access; a subsidiary providing online consumer panels in Brazil, Russia, India, China, and recently South Africa and Argentina.

Nicol joins from Creston-owned ICM Direct, where he had served as MD since July 2010. Prior to this, he spent more than six years as MD of Fieldwork International and six years as Client Development Director at Synovate. Earlier, he was an AD at Maritz Research and Operations Manager at NatCen. He began his career as a trainee researcher at Proactive Insight (now part of Ipsos).
