New ORC Global MD
Thomas Shimko has joined Opinion Research Corporation as Global Managing Director, Loyalty Strategy. Shimko will, amongst other things, be tasked with developing applications for the company's loyalty-related research.
The new MD brings an impressive set of credentials to ORC, including more than 20 years of experience in loyalty strategy, senior consulting and sophisticated marketing. As Senior Managing Partner and Director of the Worldwide Consulting Division, he created and built the consulting practice at CRM consultants Peppers & Rogers Group, Inc. He also led the creation of methodology, both qualitative and quantitative, on the impact of customer-focused strategies on ROI within Fortune 500 organisations.
Earlier, he held senior marketing positions at several major corporations, including Westinghouse Communications, Pitney Bowes and Burroughs Imaging Systems. Shimko has a BS from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the University of Bridgeport.
