MMR Forms 'Early Stage' Product Development Team
Consumer and sensory specialist MMR Research has formed a dedicated research team, focused on early stage product development and packaging work and the creation of new qualitative and bespoke research approaches.
Oxfordshire-based MMR, which also has offices in New York, Singapore, Shanghai and London, provides clients in the food, drink and personal care sectors with sensory research, product testing, NPD and emotion-based research.
To support its latest initiative, the company has promoted industrial product design specialist Sarah Mole (pictured) to the role of Senior Research Executive, working alongside Ian Horritt, who joined the firm last year as Head of Qualitative Research.
Horritt says that Mole's previous exploration of experimental research approaches, at the very early stage of product and packaging design - including the use of narrative exercises and understanding subliminal messaging - will support clients' requirements in this area.
'The creation of our team also represents bright prospects for the way MMR works as an agency, for example as a creative resource for finding new ways to make client proposals and in presenting our data.' he adds.
