GfK Appoints Former Synovate Director Amanda Boote
In London, GfK has appointed former Synovate director Amanda Boote as Global Key Account Director in the Consumer Goods Client Group, where she will focus on developing a consistent and co-ordinated approach to supplying and servicing major client contracts.
Boote (pictured) joins from Synovate, where, for the last two years, she served as Key Account and New Business Development Director for Shell Petroleum.
Prior to this, she worked in the entertainment industry as SVP of First Movies, and as International Market Research Director of Warner Home Video. She previously held senior business development and market research roles for consumer brands Findus, Unilever, Premier Foods and Avon Cosmetics, and began her career as a graduate trainee with Smith & Nephew.
Alessandra Cama, MD of GfK's Panel Services division in Germany, comments: 'Amanda has vast experience in both market research and global key account management. I am sure she will contribute significantly to strengthening our Global Consumer Goods practice.'
